Nacionales.- lima. El Ministerio de Educación adelantó que cerrará 264 instituciones educativas privadas que brindan servicios pedagógicos sin cumplir con los niveles de calidad esperados por lo que son considerados como una estafa por los estudiantes y sus familias.
La ministra de Educación, Flor Pablo, explicó que esto será posible gracias al Decreto de Urgencia 002-2020, que lucha contra la informalidad en la prestación de los servicios de enseñanza básica de gestión privada y su fortalecimiento. Agregó que las instituciones que serán cerradas no pueden llamarse colegios, pues lo único que hacen es estafar a las familias.
La lista de las 264 instituciones se preparó tras las inspecciones realizadas por Indecopi, la dirección regional de educación y los gobiernos locales. En Lima ya tenemos una estrategia de creación de doble turno para acoger a los estudiantes de aquellos colegios que van a cerrar porque no cumplen las condiciones mínimas de infraestructura, adelantó.
El director general de calidad de la gestión escolar del Minedu, Daniel Anavitarte Santillana, detalló que los 264 locales educativos a cerrarse a partir de mañana albergan a una población estimada entre 2, 000 a 4000 alumnos, que cursan el nivel inicial en su mayoría. El experto explicó que nunca en la historia se ha hecho una apuesta tan fuerte para supervisar y hacer cierres efectivos de centros educativos privados informales.
