Regionales.- Moquegua.- Southern Perú y Fundación Grupo México continúan brindando apoyo a adultos mayores de diversos anexos del distrito de Torata, zona de influencia directa de sus operaciones y quienes conforman uno de los principales grupos de riesgo, frente a la pandemia del COVID-19 y las bajas temperaturas propias de la temporada.
Las entregas se reanudaron a principios de semana y consisten en kits de alimentos, kits de abrigo y mascarillas que se distribuyen casa por casa y se extenderán a los anexos de Arondaya, Asana, Quebrada Honda, Tala, Torata Alta, Chuchusquea, Ilubaya y Yacango.
El apoyo se efectúa en coordinación con autoridades distritales, así como presidentes de Juntas Vecinales o representantes de cada anexo, hasta donde se desplazan colaboradores de Southern Perú así como voluntarios para hacer entrega personal de los implementos. Cabe mencionar que éstos forman parte de una cruzada solidaria que continuará desarrollándose en las próximas semanas.
Ésta y la próxima semana, se prevé entregar 789 kits de víveres en los anexos mencionados, así como 759 mascarillas y 378 kits de friaje. A lo largo de la campaña se completará la distribución de unos 4,000 kits de víveres tanto en Moquegua como en Ilo. En el primero sumarán alrededor de 2,500.
También vuelven a Moquegua El Patriota y El Blanquirojo para nueva tarea de desinfección.
Así mismo, como parte de las acciones de apoyo para enfrentar la pandemia del COVID-19, la empresa desplazará nuevamente sus nebulizadores El Blanquirojo y El Patriota para reforzar la desinfección en los distritos de Mariscal Nieto (Moquegua). En esta oportunidad se trabajará con dos equipos en la ciudad y uno en el distrito de Torata (El Wayki), próximo a las operaciones de Cuajone.
